I take it you have never been to eastern then. They will storm the field for a free falafel.Brother Bear said:Does it happen anywhere else or only in Bozeman? Talk about not knowing how to act like you've been there before.

I have to agree here, except to dispute the argument about the NCAA violation being an issue. I'm not being critical of the kids last Saturday either. They just wanted to celebrate with their classmates and this was a replacement for the team coming over to sing the school song to them. Nothing more, nothing less.havgrizfan said:I was the first one to jump in and say how dumb it was to criticize the MSU students for what they did last Saturday, especially considering the fact that these threads just make Griz fans look like serious sour grapes right now.
But really CAT POSTERS?? That's your comeback??? Posting a pick of the aftermath of what everyone who's anyone, INCLUDING ROB ASH, considers the greatest FCS playoff game ever played. Really, you seriously just shot yourself in the foot with that one. What happened that night in Missoula and what happened Saturday night in Bozeman are not even in the same ball park. And I'm not saying that because I'm a Griz fan and was there. I'm saying that because those two games were on such a completely different level it's not even funny. Now, if the Cats get to that point in two weeks, and you beat Illinois State by deflecting a pass on the final play of the game to reach the chipper for the first time since 1984, then by all means, it will be a magical moment that can compare with that picture you posted. But please, to use that to talk smack and criticize Griz fans is about one of the weakest things I've ever seen on here.

Stony Brook was a "big playoff game?" I doubt the NCAA will look the other way twice, should the cats beat SHSU and the field gets a 'storm' two weeks in a row. The is the hosting institutions responsibility to keep the fans off the field. MSU is going to have to spend some of that gate money to pay for appropriately increased security, or else...
Of course, the cats would have to win to set in motion this hypothetical scenario. One way or another, this will be the last home stand for the 2012 cats.
