Schmidt absolutely does not talk shit about the Griz all the time, and I question how much of "talking schmidt" you have listened to if that is your opinion. Like I said, go over to Bobcat Nation and they complain about Colter having such a Griz homer on there. Schmidt's having an ax to grind with Bobby is something neither of us could ever know, but based on Schmidt's discussion of his actual conversations with Bobby I don't feel that is the case.

Yes, I absolutely spent some time making the case that Schmidt's recruiting take was wrong and too narrowly argued. I have no problem delineating between a debate of perspective and him as a person without it clouding over every other positive thing Schmidt has said about Bobby or the Griz.

You're right, it is your prerogative and your opinion. I've always appreciated you on here. I just vehemently disagree with the points you made and, yes, how you said them.

I wish it never happened. Its weird that old men chase younger men the way he does, but whatever floats his raft.

I knew the weird guy that comes to practices and stalks players, didn't know that guy was the poster on here until people told me. It all makes sense now.

You're an idiot. I know him personally. He's more successful than you'll ever dream to be, and you shouldn't disrespect those that supported the program. If thats how you feel go tell Bobby and see what happens. I've seen Bobby and hoops interact on a number of occasions and Bobby is engaged and friendly.

You are a liar. Players generally came to me, not vice versa. DKB is a liar too. If you live in Helena, ask Andy Petek and report back to me. Players appreciate people who understand the game, support the team, and make some contributions to the team and the player groups.

I have had scores of players work for me over the decades. I have a good relationship with all of them. Former players have invited me their weddings overs the years, especially back when I knew more. Varona, Horgan, Snyder, Colt A., Ty Palmer, JD Quinn, and more. I have attended the wedding of some of their good friends too. A number of the former players visit us at the lake house, or even stay there when we aren't there. My family had dinner with Mariani during his rookie year in the NFL. I once knew alot of the cheer and dance squads during the years that I was a big supporter of those teams. A couple years ago, at the end of a practice I showed up at, every LB on the team came over after practice to thank me for sponsoring their position tee shirts. Coach Cooper came over too, introduced himself, and said thanks. I've also helped former players gets jobs and provided some general job-hunting guidance.

So, feel free to spew your nonsense and lies. Most of my good friends know the real story, as they are often with me when players or former players come over to talk.

Ask Bobby, Timmy, Green, Cooper, Phen. Ask the poster Pony. He knows a ton of players and former players especially the OL and has for decades, and he and I have been friends for decades. He was the officiant at JD Quinn's wedding.

I've literally never heard any players, current or former, say such a thing. I've never heard anyone in the athletic dept say such a thing. I don't get to every qb club because I coach my sons' football teams, but when I watch the replay hoops is there, asks questions frequently, ect ect.
