Check out grizsports.com for some solid updates on spring practicees. AJ is doing a good job keeping us in the loop. One of the summaries talked about a player who skipped two classes already. Stitt put that player on the 50 yard line to watch the rest of his teammates run 80 yard sprints for his skipping class. Awesome. I have a feeling that player may not skip class again.

The way I see it, Stitt will have plenty of athletic talent to play with at our level compared to CSM. His real challenge will be with student-athletes who want to be athletes FIRST and students SECOND. It was the other way around at CSM. Getting players to go to class, take tests, pass classes and graduate is new territory to him. Hope his staff recognize this early on. :!:
