So, basically what we can deduce from all of your posts on this subject is that there is absolutely nothing you could learn about Stitt that would change your mind. Likely because from the start, the other two are your guys. That is fine, but it doesn't make you objective.
I just can't seem to wrap my head around Bob Stitt at Montana. It just doesn't sound quite right and he just seems like a weird lil guy. Something just doesn't fit. If this guy was so amazing what is he still doing at CSM? Other than he's turned down bigger and better jobs at bigger schools that woulda paid him more money and would likely be a head coach if the timeline posted earlier is correct. I'm not biting on this one. Something doesn't make sense.

Hauck (obviously) knows what the expectations are at Montana.

Pease seems like the better coach. From what I've read and videos I've seen. So far.

Stitt just seems like an awkward guy to me. Almost shady. Why would a guy hide under a log throwing out free offensive ideas and turn down jobs at big time schools? No confidence? Wants to skip all other positions and go straight to the top? No, sir. I do not like this guy.

Pease seems like a better coach.. even though he's been a coordinator for the entirety of his coaching career, and never a head coach. Legit reasoning.

Stitt seems awkward and shady because he did this thing we in the professional world call "consulting." Did you know that coaching staffs often visit other coaching staffs in the offseason, or during spring ball, to pick up ideas for their teams? We also call that "consulting." Wants to skip all other positions and go straight to the top.. you know, like going from being a head coach to a .... head coach?

NLGrizFan in every single thread.

Yeah, yeah, and yes. I know this. But there is something missing about this guy. Something is just "off". I'll point it out after he's hired.

No, you won't.. you're swimming in the deep end of the pool without your floaties. You can't come up with ONE SINGLE reason why you don't like this guy, you've been called out a dozen times in this thread alone to pull out one shred of common sense and reasoning, your answer is "idk boys, something isn't right." Oh, okay then.

I'll be laughing at you poor bastards after we miss the playoffs then you'll say "it was a rebuilding year. Then the next season you'll be calling for his head. Then he'll be known as the worst coach to ever set foot in Wa-Griz.

you make it seem like the playoffs are a guarantee if anyone else is the head coach...it is not...

it is possible he fails...but it also just as possible that any other coach could fail...

Still not a reason.

Please consider posting the reasons in "The Cooler" thread. I want an easy way to collect and later find all of the predictions. Hey, if you're right, you'll be an e-griz legend.

Very true. But I believe the possibilities are a lot higher if we get someone in here that KNOWS Griz Football and about The Pride And Tradition this is instilled at UM. We've got the best fan base in the FCS. And we're gonna trust it to an outsider? I fuckin hate the idea of him at the helm. Hate It.

You put the date he's hired and "BAD HIRE" in your sig line, I'll do the same with "GREAT HIRE", and after one year of rebuilding, one to get it going and then the third to kick some ass, let's see who looks like the fool...I thought it would take Pflu 3 full years, it didn't, and it won't for this guy either....In fact, all the experts, good or bad should do the same, then during the next coaching search, we will know who not to pay any attention to...

might be me!

Deal?

That thread sucks. There's cat fans over there laughing at us. Just to be clear, I'll support any coach UM hires but the chances of us driving 800 miles round trip 3 or 4 times a season to Wa-Griz will be greatly diminished. I'm not going to watch us lose. Did it a couple times in 2012. Not a fun ride back home.
