Stitt’s Opinion on RTD

Maybe if Stitt had put together a playoff run, win the conference, beat the cats, you know, the way you keep a coaching job then he would have kept the coaching job.

So in other words….Fire Bobby? Because he hasn’t done any of those things either.

He's definitely aware of the rampant hypocrisy of RTD. But he doesn't seem to be aware that his own record doesn't do him any favors either.

Absolutely love to see him needle Bobby though.

He got fired because he didn’t RTD. Bobby got hired on the promise of RTD. Bobby hasn’t been/won’t be fired despite no RTD. I think he’s totally aware of this

Denial is a river that runs through the minds of Griz cognoscenti -- or at least those who have an excess of money and sufficient spare time and an inflated ego enough to believe that they should hold sway with what happens with the Griz football team. Warping reality to fit their narrative = RTD.

Let me make a prediction in advance of our playoff game. If we win, all of the reactive calls for the heads of our coaching staff will disappear. Even if we are blown-out by NDSU the following game, our fan base will be appeased and talking about RTD next season.

However if we lose, the heads of the coaching staff will front and center again. Basically, the temperature goes up or down based upon our latest weekly performance. The fact that we have not defeated a team with a winning record should not be lost on anyone.

It would be refreshing to look at the big picture of where our program is now, and is heading, compared to other solid Big Sky programs like Sac. St., MSU, Weber, and Idaho. If one looks at it from that perspective, I think it should be obvious that our program is not on the same track as those.

In summary, please think bigger than being one of the last team out of 24 to get into the playoffs. Think about next season now, and the players who will leave versus those returning.

i have read more than a few missives from you over the years that pointlessly mocked someone's spelling errors and other typos, but i wouldn't do that to you. as for what you wrote, i interpret it as you are saying it is ok for hauck to be a jerk, because stitt was a jerk?
