Surprised to see UND in the top 25. There seems to be quite the debate over how good they'll be this year. They were voted 7th in the Missouri Valley preseason poll, and last week on Bison1660 they mentioned some people voted them as low as 9th and some people voted them as high as 3rd. I guess I'm curious what people here think
 
I was just in Grand Forks and sounds like no one even knows there is a football team there.....I did see a pretty good article in the paper and sounds like lots of their players have been poached which has caused some complaints from the coach. He mentioned it was a joke that Southern Utah got in trouble for doing what several teams has done to his players......

My und buddies think they will struggle this year unless one of their qb’s is much better than projected.
 
“In 2025, Missouri State University and Delaware will be leaving for the FBS. The Bears will be eligible to compete in the Missouri Valley Conference regular and post-season championships for the 2024 season, according to Missouri State officials. The Blue Hens will be ineligible for a conference title or the FCS playoffs once the transition process begins in 2024.”

Sam Houston State last year in FCS was 2022, and I can't find them ranked at any point of that season. JMU announced after the 2022 season, and went to FBS that next fall. So I would guess they don't include transition teams in the Top 25 they way the last couple went.
 
Pretty great to see how the gris had their best season in 15 years and cats had their worst season in 4-5 years and then had “tons” of transfers out while gris had “tons” of FBS guys come in and yet the cats are only one spot behind 😂😂

Maybe the voters know more than psycho gris fans?
