Until a more bigger game against an opponent(that has high standards and follows through.. perennial conference/playoff contenders) that is rolling on all cylinders..

Cal Poly and UNI had better defenses. I don't get this thought that SUU has a great defense this year. They don't.

hey now hold the friking phone! Last week in the prediction thread it was said over and over that SUU was the best defense the Griz would face. In typical EGRIZ fashion after a griz win the other team is all of a sudden shitty :roll:
For the record Ducharme I'm not calling you out personally just pointing out the difference a week makes as far as perception goes. No clue what your thoughts on SUU defense were before game.

Cal Poly and UNI had better defenses. I don't get this thought that SUU has a great defense this year. They don't.

Cal Poly's D is not better. They could never hold Utah to 24 as SUU did. They benefit from their O's strong TOP and still give up 30 a game. SUU could easily win out; their only remaining challenging game is NAU.

And based on results so far for their backup QB, that might not be a real challenge if Case Cookus can't play. Right now [Oct 2 article] he's described as "out indefinitely with an injury to his throwing shoulder."
