State AA Basketball

monthoops, great point. i personally think Morris had to have given up quite a bit when he transferred. he obviously lost a lot of friends (i was at both games when they played sentinel, it was ugly). i think it shows character. he sacrificed things most people wouldn't to go be a part of a great program, under a great coach. i can't say that he left a good program. im not a big fan of joe fischer or how he does things, so that is part of the reason i have supported this Morris kid in what he did.

He showed character by giving up on one team and transferring to another school just for sports? This great country of ours is going in the dumps. Very sad.

you can twist what i said however you want. but if you think about it, you will realize what im talkin about. i just don't know why people hate on him as much as they do. he seems like a good kid.

Morris doesn't have a lot of character, if he did he would have at least talked to Fischer before leaving Sentinel. He just bailed, after shooting Sentinel out of the State tourney.

Good job though, Hellgate, congrats Cox, McGillis, Shaffer!

The kid is a 17-18 year old high school student folks! I really see no one here who actually know what his motivation for transfering was, only speculation! SO BACK OFF! :fist: I don't know the kid at all, but I think ripping a high school kid on a college message board classless. Talk about his game if you want but personal attacks are way off base!

mslacat, good point. but if anyone does talk to morris often or knows EXACTLY why he transferred, by all means, tell us all why. but i agree, i think the kid has game, and if he was stronger, he could go D-1 i think. anyone disagree with me there?
