I watched Senior/Hellgate and West/Bozeman. It should be close. Both teams are athletic and have good size

:o :o Does Hellgate depend on the big three or do they use 5 in a team deal. Does Hellgate get good shots or will they be in trouble if the big three are not hitting or are they always hitting. Is West a little more balanced? Do they have a match up for McGillis? Does west run or shoot? Game at 6:30?:o :o

WOW you are full of questions

Yes West is very balanced many times having four or five players in double figures. West runs and can play both the inside and outside game.

I think Hellgate is not as deep but hard to tell from one game

I think West can hang with them. But i believe Hellgate will be too much in the 4th quarter. Hellgate- 62 West - 56
 
West will have to shoot well from 3. They aren't a great shooting team but they are good at rebounding. However, West's tallest starting player is 6'4'' and he'll have to go against McGillis. Helgate has been playing great lately with wins over Senior and Capital. In the Senior game, Senior shot great but they still trailed 41-31 at halftime. In the Capital game, Capital didn't have a chance from the start as they trailed by over 15 at the end of the first quarter. Helgate is too talented and too hot not to win this game. Look for Helgate to start strong and glide to the win.
 
21-17 now West with the advantage. West misses a three and Cox gets the rebound and gets fouled. Cox is going to the line for a 1 and 1. makes his first so there within three. Makes his second so its a two point advantage. Mcgillis steal but steps outta bounds. Danahee makes a bucket. 23-19. Cox shoots and misses gets it back and then a travel was called. THREEEEE by Brett Taylor. 26-19 West. 5 unanswered points. JEff Shafer gets his shit rocked and West in transition gets fouled. He missed his first one. Danahee makes his second to extend it to a 8 point lead. Cox hits a three!!!!!!!!!! ball gets batted outta bounds, ball back to West. Danahee Scores again downlow. Cox missed from 26 feet and West gets the rebound. Galager misses a three and Hellgates gets the board down by seven. Jeff Shafer gets it downlow and scores with 30 sec. to go in first half. Danahee shoots and misses but gets his own rebound and McGillis sends his shit out. Hellgate gets the ball and runs down and Trevor Missed his shot and goes outta bound. END OF HALF 29-24 West is leading
 
Start of the seond half. Danahee gets Swatted by McGillis. Trevor Morris travels on the other end. West three is short and McGillis gets the board but it was stolen from behind and then it went outta bounds. West ball. Taylor Three is short. Hellgate takes it down and Cox penatrates and its a jump ball because the ref called a double foul. (double fouls are gay) Hellgate ball..T-MO three!!!! on the other end West misses a three and McGillis gets fouled on the floor by Danahee. Shafer puts it on the floor and turns it over and McGillis picks up a foul. West turns it over. McGillis scores to tie it up at 29. West runs down and throws up an air ball. McGillis hits another shot to take the lead bye two 31-29. WEST timeout. Danahee off the timeout scores off the glass to tie it up at 31. Cox penatrates and turns it over. West in transation throws up another air ball. McGillis scores again for his 8th point. Ball is batted outta bounds. West turns it over and on the break Cox misses a pass. Taylor for ThREE!!!!!!!!!! 34-33. McGillis misses and we got a West foul underneath. Morris three is short and Jeff Shafer picks up his first foul. West gets the ball and travels. Cox misses a layup and West gets the ball back. Taylor misses a three. and something happened but in the end it was a West foul. McGillis inbounded the ball off a west player and scored. West throws up a three and misses. Wests ball. Cox steals the ball with 10 secs to go and lays it up. Hedge misses a three at the buzzer. End of Third its 38-34 Hellgate
 
Start of the fourth. West has the ball. Hellgate with a quick foul. HEdge Nails a THREEEE!!!! to tie it up at 37. McGillis responds with a three!!!!!!!!!! 40-37. West three is short and then a Hellgate foul. Hellgate gets the ball back and Morris misses a three but gets it back and McGillis gets a bunny to take a five point lead 42-37. Wests ball. They get fouled but he misses the first. As well as the second. McGillis hits another THREEEEEE!!!! to take an 8 point lead. West misses a three on the end and West gets the rebound and then McGillis fouls. Taylor hits both free throws and cuts it a 6 point game. Kyle Shafer gets 2 more for hellgate. Hedge misses a three for West. McGillis travels on the other end. half way through the fourth quarter Hellgate is winning by 8. Hellgate in a 2-3 zone. Danahee gets his shot blocked but West gets the ball back and Shrivice misses the front end of the one and one. McGillis gets the ball stolen. Danahee drives in and gets an offensive foul. Cox penatrates and dishes to Kyle Shafer and he scores to make it a 10 point lead. On the other end Shrivice answers to cuts it to 8. Morris to the line for a 1 and 1. makes his one. and makes his second one. Two minutes to left and Hellgate up 10. Shrivice THREE!!!!!!!!! 44-51. Cox turns it over. West almost turns it back over and finally does. Hellgate ball. HELLGATE WINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hellgate storms the floor.

West is a young team. Hellgate played a very solid second half
 
Im not apologizing for the commentary. Im apologizing for the fact that it wasnt good. Im glad that Cox got a ring but I am pissed that T-Mo got one. It was a good game. West will be good next year. Did you hear if who won the chicks?

West won the Girls Game over Bozeman. Third straight championship for West girls. They have now won 80 of their last 84 games.
 
Yeah that is puuurty good! How many games did they lose this year? I remember I heard that they had like a 46 game win streak going or some ridiclous streak like that going....

Just curious, why are you mad Morris got a ring. I know a lot of people hate on him, but we all know that Morris had a lot to do with the Knights claiming the chipper. He must be happy about transfering now, he found a way to play with Cox and McGillis and didn't have to worry about anything but winning games. (unlike at Sentinel). If you ask me, give the boy a ring too. who's with swilly...who's with me?
 
Trevor Morris deserves a ring as much as the others. Hellgate probably couldn't have done it without him. He contributed much throughout the year and during the State Tournament. He may not have put as much time in with the "Hellgate System", but he put just as much personal time in a "basketball dream" over the years.
 
monthoops, great point. i personally think Morris had to have given up quite a bit when he transferred. he obviously lost a lot of friends (i was at both games when they played sentinel, it was ugly). i think it shows character. he sacrificed things most people wouldn't to go be a part of a great program, under a great coach. i can't say that he left a good program. im not a big fan of joe fischer or how he does things, so that is part of the reason i have supported this Morris kid in what he did.
