Did somebody wake up with a little too much sand in their vagina? Dumbest ever? Really? I admit its illogical to not play any starters at all. The post was mostly to raise the point and debate about how much your starters should play in a game like this. C'mon man, I've read some pretty dumb s**t on this board and to say dumbest ever well that almost brings a smile to my face that you would think that much of it to put it in that catagory. Mabey we should keep this at the top of the board to let people know what the standards are for dumbest ever. I guess next time ill have to try harder.Mr. Greenjeans said:alabamagrizzly said:Are you brain dead, this is the dumbest post ever, that is saying something, to be fair I miss your logic man.
AggieMan said:Let us know how you want to wreck the stat lines, and keep us posted on the progress during the game.......the contract has some milestones, and we want to make sure we maximize our check! I know the Grizzlies have a great program, but how many players from Montana actually see the field? Taking a look at your roster, it seems less than a third are from you fine state. Maybe you should think about fielding a Montana native only team for this game and see how it goes? It might be more fun that way and mom/dad, gramps/grandma can see their boys play.
Who would also beat OPSU...I'm not even being a homer here...AllWeatherFan said:AggieMan said:Let us know how you want to wreck the stat lines, and keep us posted on the progress during the game.......the contract has some milestones, and we want to make sure we maximize our check! Perhaps you should schedule Montana Tech.

Don't hold your breath on that one. MD is not about to show anything that would be useful to BSC opponents down the road. Playbook 101; work on execution not diversity. He may show some stuff he never intends to use again, just to force upcoming opponents to prepare.nzone said:Hope we open up the play book.

OrgonGriz said:Should this be a easy win for the Griz, yes it should. HOWEVER please do not look past any team. Keep the focus and prepair for this team just like you would for a top FCS program.
We need to play our starters and try and put up 40 plus in the first half. If that's the case then put in backups after half.
I just don't want to see the Griz look past this game and have a pesky Div II team come into WA Griz and hang around.
Keep to the business at hand. Follow your game plan and work over this team then prepair for the next game!
Go Griz!

This. We've built great momentum the last two games, and there's no reason to slow it down by sandbagging this one.

I love idiots who make assinine comments like this, with no basis in reality. You guys have 128 people on the roster and a whopping TWENTY EIGHT of them are from Oklahoma....so, 22% of your roster is from your home state. Montana has 95 players on the roster, 34 of whom are from Montana, or 36% of our roster from our home state. So, 33 MORE players, but six FEWER from the "home state". We'd have a hell of a lot easier time fielding an "all-Montana" team than ya'll would fielding an "all-Oklahoma team".
And, to take it one step further, I would LOVE for our coaches to do exactly that and kick your team's sorry ass all over the field:
QB: SSH and/or Brady Gustavson
RB: Gavin Hagfors
OL: Ben Weyer
OL: John Schmaing
OL: Clint LaRowe
OL: Trevor Rehm (converted NT)
OL: Jesse Ginn (converted NT)
TE: Jordan Harper
TE: Clay Pierson
WR: Aschan Richards
WR: Kevin Berland
DT: Bo Harris
DT: Caleb Kidder
DE: Zach Waggenman
DE: Derek Crittenden
LB: Brock Coyle
LB: Jordan Tripp
LB: Connor Lebsock
CB:
CB:
S: Zach Gratton
S: Steve Rominger
Throw a couple of our extra WR's (of which there are SIX), or one of the extra safeties (of which there are TWO) into the corner slots and let the ass-kicking begin.
Oh and, BTW, the vast majority of those players listed (ALL from Montana) either ALREADY start or are major rotation guys...![]()

Actually, that could be quite fun (and a damned good team as well). Well done AZGrizFan :thumb: I still say send the 1s out there at least for the first 1/4
