I think he's talking about a play where Calhoun broke a tackle behind the line and still gained yards. Nguyen may not of lost yards behind the line of scrimmage but he has lost yards where he tried to bounce it out instead of going up field.

That's not what he said. Read the words again. He wasn't talking about 1 play. In any event, Nguyen didn't lose any yards in the game.
There's nothing in what you quoted that suggests it isn't from 1 play. Nguyen never lost yards behind the line of scrimmage but he did lose potential yards and forward progress. Which to me is losing yards. Will it show up in a state sheet? No. Doesn't mean he didn't lose yards. Don't get all defensive buddy.

Whatever. Think what you want. We'll see if the author was talking about only one play.

I wasnt talking about just 1 play, but that one play is the perfect example of what I was talking about. I don't mean whos losing yards as in negative rushes. I'm talking about running 5-6 and than going up field to get an extra 1-2 yards instead of running 5-6 than getting sideways and tackled going backwards for a total gain of 4.

Well OK...what about Counts? If his ankle is healed enough to allow him to stroll down Pattee Canyon Road at 2:30 AM, why can't he carry the ball? We need any swinging dick at RB that we can get at this point.

logwood, favors, counts......seems like a lot of backs that can't stay healthy or maybe not durable enough to take the hits at this level??? Relying on a true freshman is a rough (although Calhoun has proven so far to be the one you want on the field ahead of those three).

It really doesn't matter who starts because whether people like it or not, both guys are going to get their carries. I am more curious to watch when they get their carries...
