Staff

Yea I know there hasn't been announcement yet and if rumors are to be believed we won't have to wait much longer anyway. There is however a bit more speculating to do about the staff since no one is being productive today anyway. Apparently if Stitt is hired, TG JG and Legi will be retained with Germer coming back as well.

Most of Stitt's staff at CSM is young to very young with little to no FCS or FBS experience, so the retention of current staff would be a very good thing. That said I'm sure Stitt will bring some if his guys along. Semore, their current DC seems like a good choice to join Ty's staff and same with Nicholson the LB coach. Both have been a part of successfull FBS staffs and have built up some good experience in a short time.

Not sure what to think of the offensive staff if Stitt is going to be the OC.

You guys have any thoughts on the potential new staff? Only a little time left for speculation!

basically from wut im seeing &hearing i.e. from the "'spies"" basically almost keeping all grizzz staff & having Stitt bring his playbook & play callls, this this could turn out great, this scenario might b better than if hauck brought his package pack, we all know the Hauck offensive schemes, doubt theyd change

With Stitt filling the role of OC himself, maybe they can afford to give some raises to the assistants they want to retain.

I have no "inside" information to suggest this, assuming Sitt is the hire and there's the rumored Green, Gregorak, Suinoa, and 1 other Griz coach + Germer are accurate here's what I could see as a workable staff. 11 coaches I believe which doesn't include an operations guy and the S&T coach.

Head Coach - Bob Stitt (Calls plays, designs offense)
Offensive Coordinator/QBs - Kfense Hynson (more of a "mentor" like Smith was with Pflu)
Defensive Coordinator - Ty Gregorak (same duties as he has now)
Special Teams - Clement Grinstead (On Stitt's staff currently)
O-line - Chad Germer
WR/TEs - Nolan Swett (On Stitt's staff currently)
RBs - Justin Green (recruiting as well)
D-line - Legi Suiaunoa (same duties as he has now)
LBs - Scott Kaniecki (on Stitt's staff as outside LB's coach)
DBs - Jason Semore (on Stitt's staff as DC but has both DB's and LB's coaching experience)
CBs - Aric Williams (same duties as he has now)

S&T - Gerber - please please please please don't get rid of Gerbs.
Operations - not sure here, Grinstead was Stitt's operations guy, would Roland Ford get to stay on staff? I've liked Roland a lot with my interactions with him. Will have to see.

Not that it matters now, but Hauck actually did change his schemes. He moved to a pure zone-read offense, and his last two quarterbacks were very mobile

Hopefully I'm wrong but new coaches almost always bring their own S&T. That is the most crucial hire for coaches because they're the only people allowed to be with the players 24/7 basically.
