Yes. Ivy League endowments range from $8 Billion to $51 Billion.

MSU's endowment is $232 million (2023). UM's is $274 million (2021, I didn't see 2023 number)

The restroom complaints always confuse me. Every well-attended game at any stadium I've ever been to has the same exact scene.

There is no arguing that point (other stadiums), but the WA Griz stadium's crowd has grown from about 13,000 to 26,000 with no scale-increase in facilities. I quit trying to use restroom and get concessions at the Half Time, because the crowd numbers overwhelm service capacity. & Not to mention the pipes leaking and breakage.

RE: the press box/coaches box, it is as bad as reported and is a detracting factor for getting Nationally-televised game crews.

Can’t comment on the plumbing part because I’ve not noticed it. But we can never expect to have an open urinal for every fan exactly when he wants it. Especially at halftime. SoFi cost how many billions of dollars, and there are bathroom lines if you go at halftime. It’s just how sporting events are.

Ohhh CDA. Please read carefully - because I did NOT ever say there has to be an open urinal for every fan.

WA Griz was built in 1985 and opened 1986 - please tell me if they planned it to accommodate a 26,000-person crowd. 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)

I didn’t say you did. But bathroom lines are a thing at every sporting event that a lot of people want to attend. I’ve been to many games in WaGriz and many games in other stadiums/arenas. It’s the same thing everywhere if you choose to go to the bathroom or concessions at peak times. Go to the bathroom then grab a hot dog at Yankee Stadium in the middle of the 7th, and you might be back to your seat by the bottom of the 8th.

I actually think WaGriz is among the least crowded bathroom lines in my experience. I’ve been to a freaking Lakers game where I missed almost all of the third quarter because I made the mistake of going to the bathroom at half. I’m sure if I went to ISU at PSU, I could pee anytime (and probably anywhere) I wanted.

I can speak of my of my bathroom experiences at Holt, over many years. Never a problem. Walk in, tinkle, and back to any seat, even after stopping for concessions. Done in minutes. Helps when there are 4,000-6,000 empty seats though. Only an idiot waits for halftime. Herd/flock mentality. GD sheep.

The Champions Center does have restrooms and concessions shelled out. It’ll be about a $500,000 project to get those up and running. Expect that in the next few years.

No shit. The complaining on this board is wild.

You go to AT&T stadium for a Cowboys game and they have the same issues people on here are complaining about for restrooms

We’re just a few seasons away from hearing that there are “too many damn people in the stadium. Why should they get to be here when I want to be here? The younger folks are so entitled!”

Don’t forget that it’s too loud and too cold.

If you’re football savvy you know when the TV timeouts are imminent and it’s pretty easy to take care of business in that 3 minute break. If you’re waiting for halftime that’s a you problem.

Sounds familiar.

If you can take care of business in three minutes, uou're a better man than I, Gunga Din.

Hey, if you eat a proper breakfast on gameday, you should be good.

One thing I believe that would shorten the lines at the concessions is for Vendors to walk around selling items in the stands. Keeps people in their seats? Students could do it for the tips alone? Only a thought...

I don't get the griping about the stadium. I've never had to stand in a horribly long line for the bathroom, and it seems like there's plenty of food options if you just walk a little. It was pretty rough for a while when half the concessions were shut down during and after covid, but it seems to have gotten better. My family's seats are in the NW corner but their favorite food truck is in the south end zone. So they go into the stadium early to have plenty of time to walk down and get their burgers.

I think any stadium anywhere has many of the same issues. It's just a lot of people trying to use a limited number of facilities. But there's not a lot of ways to improve it really. People pay for seats not bathrooms.

But I braved a mountain pass and paid nearly $200 for a motel. Is it too much to ask to have a latrine and a butler at my seat? Last game I had to go to the restroom during a media timeout and completely missed the Monte video, and I don't mean the capitol of Uruguay which is lovely. I was gone for nearly six minutes.

You already have a personal latrine at your seat. It’s called your empty soda cup :D :thumb:

A lot of stadiums have a QR code for menus on the back of every seat. Order, and someone delivers to your seat. We could add a bedpan to the menu to solve all problems.
