I think I remember it has to do with an Eastern European international student spelling out “Go Griz” in the snow but doing the Z backward. They brought in a transfer from a bad Wyoming team who lost the starting job there after throwing more INTs than TDs and boasting a 40% completion rate. They will instantly declare him the next great QB like they all did with McKay until McKay quit on them. You literally can’t make this stuff up.
