At what point do we just start an eGriz FCS Poll? I'm fairly confident it would be held in higher regard than a lot of these basement blog polls. .We will have 50 voters, which I will choose. Who is with me?

Great idea! No doubt, poor egriz would have the Bobcats at #1 every week. After last week's debacle at Ttech, he may never show up again.

Rocklobster, does that mean after you guys lose big to Oregon that you will never show up again? I never view a game against an FBS team from a power conference as a debacle. These games mean nothing as far as the season goes. It gives the players a chance to show what they can do against far superior competition. It gives the coaches an opportunity to get the players on film. You can throw in a lot of the younger players to further evaluate them. The Bobcats threw in a few true freshman in that game. You get to see how in shape your players are . It was 99 degrees at game time in the stadium. Probably 5 or 10 degrees hotter on the field. Given all that, I would say it's is not a debacale.

I'm not saying the Bobcats won't show up, but if you don't see the QB problem, and your great linebacker is the best option, your missing the point. Yes, I agree with heat point , and the freshman being thrown to the fire, and your players played their butts off, but you clearly have problem there and you don't seem to see it. This week will be the week for you. How your. QBs do at home against SEMO is the moment of truth for the Bobcats. I expect they'll come out fired up, but if Mr. Andersen is at QB IN the 2nd half, it's gonna be a long season, and a continued "debacle!" We may lose big, and probably will by 4 touchdowns or more, but with Mr. Sneed at QB, the Griz will remain competitive in every game.

My reasoning behind allowing a couple of non-Griz voters, is to keep it from becoming a Griz biased poll. Golden Eagle-for example-is very realistic in his analysis. Where as poor Griz is just troll with lots of comic books and watches old episodes of Golden Girls.

Yes, I agree that this is the real test for Bauman this week. . I don't think Texas Tech was an indicator of where he is right now. We will see if he is going to be a gamer or not. If not, yes, something will need to give. I do think there is another QB there and not Rovig, who was a real gamer and winner and won at a high level in HS and was privately tutored all during HS by the same guy that tutored Sneed. Would love to see him get a chance.

I wholeheartedly agree with the notion of selecting non-Griz voters to ensure the legitimacy of the poll on a national scale. We simply have to select the posters with honor and integrity.
