Spoilers - What does It Take?

You're trying to say if griz contain DMG they win... You do know Griz run D is pretty good, right? If the secondary doesn't make changes he'll pass all over them and won't even think about running. If he does, he shouldn't be playing QB.
Keep dmg in the pocket griz win going away, dmg is at his best out of the pocket. You don't have enough speed at receiver to beat our shitty secondary deep!

I think if the Griz could get an early lead, say 10-0 or 14-0, then MSU could very well wilt. It would put "here we go again" thoughts into their minds. By virtue of its cupcake schedule, MSU has not had to play from behind very often this season. Would be very interesting to see how they respond to being down early. Of course turnovers will be key in this game, as will UM's ability to stop the pass and MSU's ability to stop the run. I expect a close game, with UM winning 27-24.

Talk about the derp quote of the year.

Why is that a derp quote? Because a Griz fan predicted the Griz would win? Do you expect anything else from this site? Because of the schedule comment? Even MSU fans have to admit their schedule was soft this year. Here are some fun numbers for you: 70-36-5 -- UM leads all-time series against MSU. 22-4 -- Grizzlies record against the Kittens in the last 26 meetings. 6-1 -- UM's record against MSU in the last 7 Brawls of the Wild. 36-10 -- The pounding the Grizzlies gave the #1-ranked Kittens in Bozeman last year. So yeah, it isn't unreasonable to think if the Griz get an early lead, MSU (players, coaches and most certainly fans) will think "oh no, not again!"

You are correct...If TG plays the corners up and allows the pressure to get there, we have a good day. If they play off 12 yards and the scat qb can just dump it off before they can get home, long day.

... It doesn't matter what he's best at. If he's smart he'll adjust and expose UM's weakness. The secondary. I don't think It'd be smart fpr DM to leave the pocket. Griz have a solid front 7. He should keep himself protected and pick away at the D. Hopeully your coach has the same thinking as you though.

Delany is not that smart or clever but he does know that we need to establish the run first and stop their run game. We need to control the ball and the griz are perfectly capable of doing that. The bobcats have trouble with any team that is physical which we are. I don’t think we want to try to out athlete them at the skilled positions but we beat them hands down in the trenches and that is how this game will be won Saturday.
Pull out the game plan the Griz used against EWU, (less the 2 fumbles in the red zone) and use it. We dominated the offensive and defensive line of scrimage. We ran the ball, we stopped the run and should have been up 3 scores going away.....
That game plan is not flashy, but it is the one that will beat the cats.
Go Griz!

I agree that this would be the best game plan to stay close and have a chance for a win but this plan will be easier said then done. Plus you got the Griz secondary issues that always seem to come into play. It is a rivalry game! We'll see.

I didn't say the Grizzlies played a murder's row either, did I?
