Speculation Tinks looked at for Wazzu

Last sentence talks about Tinks being considered with Ernie Kent and Leon Rice.

I honestly do not see him going anywhere until Tres is done with school. Maybe Tres can get the other 2 touted kids in the state to play for his dad with him...I really hope Tres stays at home to play for Dad, similar to Doug McDermott at Creighton!!

Yikes. The only bad part of the Lady Griz hosting the Cougs in the WNIT tonight is that Moos will likely be wandering the halls of the Adams Center. Let's hope Wayne is out on a recruiting visit. :o

I for one would not mind Wayne becoming the WAZZU coach. I'd be happy to work their camps too. I honestly feel he is high on their candidates list.

Plus the WAZZU job would keep his family in the region. The schools and community are great too, very similar to Missoula. It would not be a huge transition or be taking anything away from Tres's as for education, social aspects, and personal interests. If anything, he would be playing against better competition his last year of high school.

Sorry to folks, in my opinion this is a great fit for him. We shall see how this plays out.

Agree! Wayne has done a great job for us, wish him the best if he does go. If Tre plays for him there even better. A tough guy to replace if he does leave, but if opportunity knocks one should open the door

Story in spokesman review says Moos has a short list, all head coaches. Wants to fill position by the end of NCAA tournament. Priority will be recruiting. Pay will be competitive but "won't break the bank" since bb is losing money. Says he will Ernie Kent for advice on who to hire. Some commentators speculate he will hire Blaine Taylor.

Heheheheh.

Yeah, I don't see it. I think Blaine is going to have to earn his way back into coaching as an assistant or as the HC at a lower-tier program. I can't see a Pac12 program taking that kind of risk. I love the guy, and I hope he's defeated his demons. But that's far too big a risk at $800k a year.

As I remember, Taylor moved out east to molify his wife's desire to be close to family. Unless a divorce is in the near future, why would he come back thisaway?
