Special TEAMS success

Kudos are due to a very stingy Special teams unit, especially on KO and punt return… wow. Mostly up and coming young Montana raised fellas as well.

Besides the 2nd pooch kick, a call which I don’t agree with, Bobby has the special teams playing light years ahead of where they were earlier in the year. Morrison kicking pretty well as of late, too.

Shout out to this squad. Saw a lot of pancakes on the punt returns. To create a spark in the clutch like that is massive. These dudes embody the spirit of what Montana football is all about.

Special teams had a huge day in punt return, kick return, FGs, the pooch kick turnover, and pinning them back on kick return a few times. It made a huge difference in that game.

Damn impressive how well special teams were able to contain #23. I think Brint mentioned he was averaging almost 38 yds/return, and we just shut him down all game. Kinda wish we hadn't kicked that 2nd pooch kick, coverage was awesome.
