Special teams not so special.

Oh BH where are you at.
10 yard punt
2 blocked field goals
Nguyen fumbling another punt
there fake punt.


Even if you take away the amount of fumbles Nguyen it does not even make sense to have him back there. With Moore being hurt why would chance Nguyen getting hurt. This game was one of the worst coaching jobs I have ever seen. Almost bad enough to make me forget about Delaney booger incident from last weekend.
 
Agreed. Special teams killed us overall. I also believe that touchdown drive by SUU in the 3rd killed us. The one where they called the BS facemask call that moved them up and eventually got them a score.
 
Have to agree. I miss BH for a lot of reasons, but STs is a major reason. BH also made some pretty good half time adjustments. We are being out coached in almost every game this year. Defense did their job-until they got tired, but that was it today.
 
I dont agree that the defense did their job, the defense front play outstanding, they need to figure out how to cover those 8 yard passes that turn into 15 yard gains, those have killed us all year long. The db's finally did a good job of covering down the field.
 
I too miss Bobby Hauck's attention for detail on Special Teams.

The bobbled punt for a SUU TD.
The shanked punt for their next SUU TD.
The failed UM field goal.
Their faked punt on 4 & 3 where our men are ALL standing ten yards deep.

Is it just me? Or, is there a trend here...

no its not just you. its embarrassing as hell.
 
Is this the second or third game where errors (including coaching errors ) by special teams have been turned into enough points to loses us the game???
