The FCS playoffs could be dominated by the Colonial, Missouri Valley and Big Sky.

The thing that gets lost in translation so much is who are our academic peers. The majority of the above schools are just that. Just look at the Ivy League schools, I don't see Harvard or Yale trying to get into the Big Ten, the ACC, etc because they recognize who their academic peers are....of course I doubt a Harvard man would agree to that in regard to a Yale man, or vice versa.

Point of clarification: The PAC-12, with the addition of Colorado and Utah, is two years old. It was preceded by what became the PAC-10 when Arizona and Arizona State came on board. Montana and Idaho belonged to the old Pacific Coast Conference which included the present eight California, Oregon and Washington schools...
