South Dakota Coyotes Scouting Report

I watched the KSU v. So Dak game. The 'Yotes chose to the stop the pass and got pounded on the ground 230 rushing yards for KSU in the first half. KSU QB Martinez had chances to run in the first half, but didn't as much as he could have, deciding to stick with the passing plays instead.
Second half, Martinez is running more, which also freed things up for RB Vaughn.

The Griz have to run the ball well. Johnson has to be quick to run when receivers are covered up. If that happens, Montana should win comfortably.

And to think the village idiot on another thread said K-State o-line couldn't move the SD d-line...... :roll:

With even a decent performance by the o-line - Griz will run downhill on them...they cover the spread without issue.

Couldn’t get it off work unfortunately. Would have been the game I’d like to go to most outside of the Eastern game.

Just took a trip over to the SD Board - most of their posters think this will be a 1 or 2 possession game. Many think the team played well below their full potential last weekend. They also think our fanbase is over confident - they think their QB in the RPO can exploit our D. They struggled against K-State's speed...

I'm not sure the Griz D is that far behind K-State (speed) although K-States D-linemen are truly elite...

We'll see - will be fun.
