Sonya Rogers was dissed

I am watching the Final 4 mens/ladies slamdunk and 3 pt shootout on ESPN. Why is Sonya Rogers not in the 3pt shooting contest? She is better than 5 of the 8 in the contest. Talk about no respect. Did she not lead the nation in 3 pt shooting as a junior?
 
More proof that the lady griz dont have the national respect that a lot of the fans feel they do unfortunately. Nobody knows who we are outside of the big sky and northwest.
 
If she wasn't selected for this last year, then she was dissed as she shot great last year. but, this year she only shot around 40% from 3 point line. Good, but not great.
She simply did not shoot as good this year as last year.
 
For the record a girl from Furman won it. Most the girls were below 40% this year and well under for their careers. So do not tell me she was not worthy of it. As for a shooting slump, every perimeter shooter at all levels has an occasional off game. Sonya deserved be named to the contest, and had better career stats and stats this year than the others competing. Can we please move to a conference with some basketball recognition? At least get commissioner that would have made a case for her. Hell I doubt she was even nomintated in whatever process they go about it. What a shame.
