DOLA is part of Griz lore. It used to put O-Lineman into the NFL on a pretty consistent basis. Griz need more DOLA.

Late to the party but if we're complaining, F U C K Missoula traffic. It is easily as bad if not worse than the Twin Cities. Maybe it's just the small town in me, but god damn, with the aggressive drivers and poorly planned streets, I've been stuck in three traffic jams just getting to campus.

well, i did say to each his own, and that i personally didn't like it. to clarify more, if the team internally embraces it, fine, but that isn't where i hear the term, it is here, typed out by my fellow old-man fans, usually wishing it was the past again. you know, the 'i want to see us return to dola like in the good old days when i was only 35'.

I've seen current o-line guys wearing DOLA tee shirts, so I assume they are recent ones. I assume it has been a source of some pride for most of the o-line groups at UM for a fairly long time.

Having an o-line with the attitude and temperament to be dominant and physical is important in my view, along with o-line and strength coaches whose goal it is to be strong and physical, and to have the tough attitude that was epitomized by players like JD Quinn. The o-line seemed to fall away from DOLA in the years following Hauck's departure.
