Very Cool. Thanks AllWeather. Anyone have any thoughts on this guy?

imo, if johnson isn't the clear starter coming out of spring, griz are in trouble.
For Sure!! We've already seen what SS-H and TM can do... not sayin they can't improve but why mess around when there is someone there who has proven himself?? As far as "Gus" goes... he hasn't even played a full game. But I hear he is pretty good. And the freshman from Idaho... Boise I think??... I'm sure he'll get his turn

Thanks for the future view Brint as always you nail it. Any readers out there have any idea what time on the 23d the scrimmage is ? It may be my last time out there before the season gets going, and spring scrimmages are always a good measure as to what may be the season, barring injury and such.

Sounds like the secondary may be the star for viewing in the near future. WIth alledged changes on offense will there be any discussion as to whether or not the DC has made changes to his scheme? From all the writing sounds like the D line is the only solid area along with the LBs. Hopefully everybody (coaches) has reviewed film chatted up the players in the last 6 weeks to find out where their heads are at, and make adjustments as necessary. Who's coming to camp with their head in the game and ready to make adjustments as young men.

If the Kaimen is to be believed, there is no need to discuss JJ for this spring ball. He can't participate...or can he? Could someone post the REAL story please. Is he here for spring practice sessions or not?

How did he get UNDER that rock or in that coma?! What did Delaney have to do with it? Was the under rock coma thing a ploy by Engstrom to divert attention away from his foibles?!? Holy shyt, how high up does this conspiracy go?!?!?

Okay, I will play.......So, speaking of being under a rock, WTF year will JJ be this fall?? I know its probably been mentioned at least a dozen times, but I havent been successful in locating the information.

Junior or Senior?

He will be a junior. NCAA gives players 5 years to play 4 seasons.

Good. Thats what I was thinking/hoping for. I was afraid the NCAA would twist the crap out of his situation over missing last season.

So I take it that he was able to add some classes after the trial to become a full-time student ?

I think he already was. I think those saying he wasn't didn't know what they were talking about.

I was just going off the Kaimen article and some posters saying that he was only going part-time during the trial.

Yeah, that was confusing. I think it said something like, "Johnson is enrolled part time, but must be a full time student to participate in the spring". I got the sense that they knew he wasn't carrying a full load but didn't know how many credits exactly.

1. How quickly Jordan Johnson gets up to speed. New playbook...

So wait, is this official now?

Players and coaches have talked about various changes and additions to the playbook this off-season. It doesn't mean the prior one has been scrapped but I'd think there will be quite a bit different considering the Griz have gone through 2 OC's since JJ was last our QB.
