Some Paladin fans are not happy

This dithering fan stuff is silly. I've seen only one Furman alum on this board and that dude sounded like one of the numerous fake accounts to that appeared on the board this season.
Furman has maybe a couple thousands fans, who aren't invested enough to fill a modest stadium. The demographic breaks down like this:
Players' moms.
Players' girlfriends.
Dads.
Roper's mom

Yeah reading through that board is comedic. They seem to have a few posters that must know more about football than every other coach in the big sky.
They also seam to think their caliber of football is unmatched by Big Sky teams. Apparently everyone in our conference tackles poorly, doesn’t have athlete like they have, doesn’t have depth and many other deficiencies.
I say Furman is going to be lucky to keep this thing within 14 points.

That brand of football the Southern Conference plays??? I'll take whatever they are smoking if they think the Southern Conference is a legitimate FCS level power. The stats just don't back it up. Heritage and Tradition maybe, but the last decade? Uhh...not so much.
No FCS Semi-Final or Championship game appearances since 2012 (GSU). When you remove Georgia Southern and App State, they don't have diddly squat to rest their laurels on.
They don't have a single member of their current conference who has seen a semi-final since 2005, and a championship game since 2001. Both are Furman.
That isn't the track record of an elite conference.

Boone was a consummate pro, who, I think, never got enough credit for his acting abilities and range. HGWY was one of the best of those great TV westerns ... really, almost their last gasp.
