Some New Stadium Debuts Don't Go as Planned

That's what happens when you try to build a Texas high school stadium chump change style for a lousy $60 million... :coffee:

So, we know that because it was a bad pour it was done by non-labor workers? How might that be...?

Interesting because the article specifically states that design flaws are what is causing the cracking. Not a poor pour.

Holy Christ! We're now arguing about concrete. unentertaining, idiot Bizzon posters. August where are you?

I'm inventing a football advent calendar with a different kind of alcoholic beverage for each day until the season starts. Just peel off the day's date, go to your liquor cabinet and start pouring. Order yours today.

more importantly, where did sunny go? upon his return this board got interesting for a few minutes. i hope he wasn't band again.

one look at this concrete and any concrete guy can see it was VERY BADLY FINISHED! that sir is a bow float finish no work was put into that finished. they poured it bow floated it and broomed it very poor workmanship! there is more to concrete than just a strength test but being able to work the concrete. this was poured on a hot day with no water added for heat subgrade was more than likely dry or poorly prepaired thus sucking the water out of the concrete. i have poured concrete all over the western united states, so i have seen shit like this many time when you hire cheap labor low bid.

American automobiles are what you get when you go union.

How do you feel about German automobiles?

There is only one way to feel about fine German motorcars, pard: Aroused.
Hell, just thinkin' about a Detroit mess makes the ol' turtlehead retract.

I once found myself in a state of undress with a 6 named Kathy back in Winston-Salem. She had some decent hangtime on the ol' monkeybars and kept peltin' me in the smile with them during tickle time. When I complained, she said to "Dodge" them. Needless to say, it was game over for lil' Ash at that point; and it had nothin' to do with the hangtime.
