Some gold color for Griz uniforms?

Both are very "50's." '58 Fury with the gold; '59 Caddie with the chrome.

All I'm advocating is gold as a trim. Notice how most pro teams have a trim around their numbers? No, I don't think gold should be on a level of maroon and silver, but it would look good as a trim. And, yes, I agree the pants should be silver. I still would like to see the uniforms of Griz athletes reflect all 3: copper, silver, gold.

No. Pre '96 every once and awhile (because those are SO cool), but the uniforms the Griz have now are among the best in college football. The folks who want more of a shiny silver for the pants may have to wait awhile. The trend throughout football is a flat color for pants. This has been the case in the NFL since Nike took over uniform designs in 2012. Same in college football. Teams have gone to a flat color for uniforms. But things always go in cycles. I could easily see a shine or sparkle brought back in the next few years.

As far as the gold....nah. I'll pass. I get what the idea is, but I think maroon and silver is enough. Sometimes adding that extra bit is just an extra bit without purpose. Simplicity is good, boring is not. The current uniforms are pure simplistic perfection as far as football uniforms are concerned. I would only consider making the "Montana" on the front a bit larger. No other changes needed.

Don't like those helmets but do like the little tag that says IRISH just above the face mask. GRIZ would look cool there, I think.

I’m a no on gold trim. I just don’t think it looks good.
I get the desire. Just don’t think it’ll look good trimming the current colors . Sorry!
