Shit, that is great news. We’ve seen the special teams aces over the years take the next step into dominant starting roles. I could see him doing the same.Tanner Huff has also received a medical redshirt. Extra reinforcements for the D and now getting him back for Special Teams is huge!

In what way does it matter? If he’s a good dude and a great teammate why would any of his teammates care? Dude has been through a lot. Probably pretty mature. Has a different perspective than the younger guys. How is that a bad thing? No offense to the solo kid, but move on to something else. Granting him another year continues to set the precedent that just resulted in our head coach retiring, unretiring, and then reducing himself to a dc. This is bad for college football. He is going to be 26 years old next season and from what i read in his 8th season, if you don’t see the issue in someone ,regardless of injury, getting to participate in two full college football careers then i don’t know what to tell you. What i can speak on personally is the impact this has on the confidence of young athletes entering college.
No one can give a real reason as to why this is bad besides "I don't think people should be in school that long", which seems ridiculous, to me.In what way does it matter? The kids that are trying to cheat the system after playing 4 full seasons are the ones I don't want to see get additional years. In Solo's case, he had 5 different injuries that forced him to miss 5 entire seasons of his College Football career. I have no problem giving him another year with everything he's been through. Plus he has the potential to be a major weapon for us next year lol.No one can give a real reason as to why this is bad besides "I don't think people should be in school that long", which seems ridiculous, to me.
Most who are trying to cheat the system are in it for an NIL payday. Solo seems like a humble man who’s grateful to be healthy and given one more opportunity to leave it on the field. The kids that are trying to cheat the system after playing 4 full seasons are the ones I don't want to see get additional years.
