So who wins the Big Sky MVP?

Not saying Cupp will win MVP, but Delaney believes Cupp is the best player in the conference. If fact, I think Delaney may have said best player in FCS. The 17 NFL scouts at EWU, or whatever the number was, were apparently looking mainly at Wagenmann and Cupp. I assume they were taking a peek at Adams too.

I would be amazed if VA actually played QB in the NFL. He is slippery and has a fabulous arm, a real talent. However his height could be an issue with NFL teams. He has Russell Wilson by an inch, but Wilson is the height outlier. The very vast majority of NFL QBs are taller passers. Maybe a WR or a slot, but I don't think he is fast enough. It's a tough call. Maybe a trip to the Great White North will better serve him.

Hence the rub, are we talking "the best" or the "most valuable" to the season's outcome? Because if we're talking value over the course of the whole season it's probably Prukop or maybe Arias. If we're talking "best" then it's VA.

Best AND most valuable is Cooper Kupp. He's done more for his team this year than either of those two.

Shoota is the best player in the BSC. It's not even close.

VA will win because it's MVP but I don't think saying he's the best player and it's not even close is fair...

I think there are easily other players who might be better football players but do not get the recognition for MVP due to their position...

Also VA might not even be the best player on his offense let alone the entire conference.

Cool opinion.

It's also an opinion that is shared by most people who actually pay attention... as you can see on this board...

MVP race is almost always a QB or RB tho so it's gonna be VA or Prukop but to say VA is a better football player then Kupp is actually laughable.

Good for you. Keep that spirit.

I actually think Kupp is the best all-around football player at EWU, and perhaps the Big Sky. I say that because of his versatility. He's obviously got great hands, but he also runs great, plays great special teams, and is very durable. I also think he could play Safety and be a pretty damn good one.

VA can be electric at times, but I honestly think Kupp is the better all-around football player. Many wlll disagree and that's fine.

Kupp's numbers aren't on par with his Freshman season, but that's partly due to VA being out 4 games, and probably partly to due with the fact that defenses are more away of him.

I hate to say it, but if I had a vote, it would be for Kupp. If the ball is ANYWHERE near him, he will catch it and he probably will find a way to score.

Garret Saffron leads the country in total offense per game.
Arias and Prukop are 4th and 5th, respectively.
