Being in Montana and virtually a light year away from any major city with a pro sports team, who do you guys pull for in the following professional sports?

NFL
NBA
MLB
NHL

Who the hell cares about pro hockey. I like the club hockey though

Pretty much what I assumed. I'm all for rooting for the home team, but when you have no pro sports teams or metropolis nearby, I feel like it's cool to root for whomever. I thought that a lot of you might be Seahawks fans, but then again, I'm not surprised, who really wants to be a Seahawk fan?

And what??? No love for the NHL? You mean people just aren't in MT aren't just dying for some Edmonton Oiler hockey? :o

Yeah. Been an O's fan since the early 70's. Dave McNally was a Montana guy.

I always enjoy rooting for a team that is mathematically eliminated by April 15. :0

Orioles had a couple good pitchers from Montana. Dave McNally and Jeff Ballard. I worked for Dave. Him and his brother (Jim) had Archie Cochrane Ford in Billings (sold cars there...). He past away of cancer a few years ago. Ballard still lives here in Billings.
 
Steelers (ever since the day of the Immaculate Reception -- I decided that if God was rooting for these guys, so was I)

Braves (since the day they moved from Boston to Milwaukee)

My Dave McNally story. I went to a game at the old Cominsky Park in Chicago. White Sox v. Orioles. I went down and yelled to McNally that I was from Montana. He came over with a ball, and signed it. Then he had Boog Powell sign it, and one other (I think Bobby Gritch, but really can't remember as I was about 8 or 9). I was so excited I brought it home and played with it for most of the summer, before I lost it. Smart, huh?

That is why I liked the Sandlot so well. I could relate. I also did the same thing with my Dad's Richie Ashburn autographed baseball. I am not a quick learner.
