So, where is JJ?

if we did get the lloyd kid (which i think is a stretch at best) and jj stayed, it would be interesting...if lloyd is half the player he looks to be on film (fast, elusive, arm strengh) he would play before jj, which might enter into jj decesion to leave much easier to make....he also had grades 4.0, sat very high, enough to get admitted to stanford...he is the whole package mick was talking about...you know what is said about sounding too good to be true, probably is applicable here....

I don't agree with this. JJ has the timing, the experience and the tenure. No way does somebody who hasn't been around football in 2 years walk in and take that job away from him. Not with this offense.

I agree. If JJ is here he is the starter.

Did anyone else see this blog (http://4and20blackbirds.wordpress.com/2012/07/26/umontana-qb-jordan-johnson-to-leave-griz-football/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;).......saying it will be announced within days that JJ is leaving? I know, zero credibility and old rumors, just wondering if anyone has heard anything new. See below

UMontana QB Jordan Johnson to Leave Griz Football

July 26, 2012 in Montana, University of Montana

by jhwygirl

Well-pedigreed sources are saying that University of Montana quarterback Jordan Johnson – who was accused of rape back in March – will be announcing his departure from the scandal-ridden Griz football team in the next few days.

Jordan was suspended briefly from the team until a temporary restraining order was replaced by a civil agreement between the victim and Jordan back in late March.

The victim was not pleased.

City of Missoula Police handed the case to County Attorney Fred Van Valkenburg back in May. It appears it still sits with his office, unprosecuted at this time.

If rumours are true, Jordan Johnson was expelled back in May, the rumour started with a storm of twitter comments back on May 25th.

Other rumors have had the Jordan Johnson case as one in which he was appealing his expulsion to the University of Montana disciplinary system.

The student code of conduct and the disciplinary system remains cloaked due to privacy laws. That being said, if Johnson was indeed expelled, that would make it impossible to play for the Griz.

This will leave new coach Mike Delaney pretty shallow on qb’s – interim athletics director Jan Gee announced earlier this month that Gerald Kemp had been dismissed from the team – and Nate Montana left back in May.

Though the very next day after Gee announced Kemp’s dismissal, coach Delaney clarified that Kemp could be reinstated.

With today’s announcement – removing the “interim” label from Delaney’s coaching position – Delaney seemed darn happy. Engstrom, for all the Griz-hate he’s endured, did a good thing for the embattled team, making Delaney a permanent coach with a 2 year contract.

The team needs stability – and it needs a no-nonsense coach. While he’s already shown some waiver of his alleged no-nonsense style, Delaney will hopefully keep the team on the track that it should be on: A team with high moral standards, a commitment to education and community first, and a strong desire to win while maintaining those standards.

This is the same blog that thanked Fwen Glorio for her work:

I'm sure they would love to see JJ go. I don't put much stock in this 'blog either, considering the past bias. Interesting nonetheless

That's a pretty shit blog. If the blogger did her homework, she would know the "rumors" she's citing are actually fairly easily verified facts.

I guess why the silence on JJ? Either he will be in fall camp or he won't. Is there a gag order over the entire university regarding him?

Ummm, what more are they gonna say? They put out an official statement on it. Now they're waiting for the decision from the BoR.

And the BOR is waiting for charges to be brought

No shit, considering that bunch is even taken seriously is beyond my reasoning. Then again we have Marler as the lead for the city council. Whiner is what he is ,I don't think he is an idiot, hopefully his tenure is short.

Marler is a carpetbagger who thinks an ordinance would save her dog from the ravages of fireworks. We are paying her salary as a council person as well as her other gov tit sucking salary.

The irony is thick.

Actually yes. That infiltrator ot some shit?? He's been accurate on everything.
Infiltrator hasn't been accurate on shit ,10% of the time maybe!
yeah, I would rank his accuracy up there with growler1 8-)

You're gonna find out just how accurate I am, when Delirious goes down with a season-ending injury. I was a year off, but it will happen. I can not wait to see what you post then!

Heard JJ is gone.

Whatever, for what's it's worth.

Heard the same, from someone close to coaches. Mom is bringing him home. This mess has been too stressfull on the family emotionally and financially.

JJ was convicted by the student witch hunt group or whatever they want to call themselves before he even uttered a single word. second hand knowledge of a person at the hearing who listened to everything as it was unfolding, It was a joke! He's going to have a massively successful lawsuit against UM when the DA's office doesn't prosecute. I hope he fights to the very end, b/c I've been told what the texts of the female stated from the time she contacted him at the forester's ball to when she drove his ass home. UNREAL!! and something stinks to high heaven. He's getting screwed plain and simple, but hey that's why one needs to use one's big head rather than the little one, when young. S/he who hasn't been there at least once when young can cast the first stone.... I doubt we see him come fall practice, but I'm hoping for a miracle all the same.

Why on earth are you hoping for a kid to get a season-ending injury? You have issues my friend.

ZZZZZZZ. This again? How many times do I have to explain to you pin heads? I am not HOPING for Delirious to get injured, I am PREDICTING IT! Big difference. He was lucky last year that he got through the season, but I don't think he can get through two seasons. He is small, and handles the ball a lot. Prescription for injury.

I just don't get why he'd go through all this, continue with all the work
that goes into being the starting QB for a premiere FCS team and then pack his bags just over a week before fall camp because of stress.
