So, what about "Coach Sixx" now?

The Cats didn’t play “a bad game” against the Griz. The Griz flat out kicked their ass and that’s why it looked so bad. The “bad game” excuse is almost always due to the other team making them “play bad”.

Yes, The Cats flat out kicked the Griz ass in 2019. The Griz made the same bad game excuse. I guess it is a pretty normal response when you get your butt kicked.

Yeah, but the Griz had a bad game in 2019 (forever ago), and the Bobcats flat-out got their shit pushed in this year because they aren't as good as the Griz. Pretty easy to see the difference.

Pretty sure Cat fans look at it exactly the opposite that the Cats had a bad game this year and the Griz flat-out got their shit pushed in that game in 2019 because they were not as good as the Cats. Pretty easy to see the difference there too. :P My take is that the 2019 game and this year's game cancel each other out. On to 2022!!

Hmm, imagine that.

I settled in to watch the cat game Sat night and ESPN was showing this coach identified as coach Vigen running up and down the sideline actually looking like a coach.

The Real Coach Vigen was a statue somewhere In the dark
Hope he stays for many years

Yep. It still isn’t right.

The Marble Man

Cats were good last year, Cats are Great this year. Vigen has come in and not missed a beat. Not that hard to figure out really.

My question is for cat fans ( I don't want to hear the BS our backups are better then starters answer either)
How many holes will Graduation leave you with? Your amazing LB/qb/RB anderson is leaving as is your very talented WR.
I don't know your roster so what other players will leave a big void? Any players on your roster looking to portal for a chance to move up?

Daniel Hardy should be in the portal as soon as possible. Dude is a beast and really is a next level guy.

Hardly is a senior. This is his last year.

Any time you lose major contributors to graduation you’ll have questions. I don’t think that’s unique to MSU. Along those lines, fans will be excited about younger guys getting opportunities. And young guys can be really good players too; again, I don’t think this is unique to MSU.

We lose a few studs for sure. Andersen, Hardy and Benson are big ones on defense. Losing a 1000 yard receiver in Lance is obviously big too.

We have a lot of younger guys getting a ton of PT this season. So while I’m thankful for everything our seniors have done, and I don’t know if I’ll ever see another Troy Andersen in my life, I’m excited about the future.

For my own enjoyment I would like to see Sixx pull off four or five 10 win seasons in a row with losses to the Griz each year.

We could see if the Ron Ash Effect can be replicated.

It’s a good thing Waded and Elvis don’t prioritize conference championships or dual threat QBs. :

You’re had neither since Ron Ash was relieved of his duties. :thumb:

When was your last BSC championship?
Seven in a row '03-'09. Ever done anything close?

If I were trying to make fun of a team that hasn't won a conference championship in 10 years, I wouldn't want to do it as a fan of a team that hasn't won one in 9 years, either.

Yes, both team have been pretty even over the last decade. I think it will continue in the future. The streak days are over.

Is he a senior INCLUDING the extra COVID year?

Yes. He’s not returning next year. I think Cats defense will be good next year with a slight step down that I’ll consider the Troy hole, but we have two young linebackers who got good playing time and should be good to fill in as well as a starter who was out all year D-line loses 3 of the “starters” but played 10 guys regularly this year who all contributed fairly equally imo. I hope we get to keep our defensive coordinator but like ESPN said on Saturday he’s likely going to move up and quickly.
Receiver will be my biggest concern but we also have two commits at receiver that I think can contribute next year, with the 3 star recruit and Dowler from West. Jaden Smith is my hope for stepping in and be the “f- it toss it up and see if he catches it” that 86 was all year for us. Cats will be comparable imo. But who knows ! That’s the wonder of college football

It's all about the key players staying healthy. Taco is small, but he will be a player. He made some amazing plays.

This hypocrisy and impressive lack of self awareness has always been one of the hallmarks of egriz. Never disappoints 😅

Shades of another speedy Billings receiver who chose the other side 😉
