I'm going to take a little risk here and share some personal things. I spent a decade in a relationship with a former regular poster (he's been gone from here since 2010). In summary, he was a Griz addict - far beyond a typical hard core fan because he is also psychotic. He is now in a federal penitentiary for sexually abusing my child. I joined eGriz in '09 and things were very divisive and controversial at that time. Bobby's players were in the news for their issues. Later, the sexual assault issues tied in with the UM became prevalent in the news. The Penn State/Sandusky scandal was all over the news. After finding out my ex was a pedophile, getting him arrested, dealing with his supporters calling me a liar and attacking me, I became an advocate. I volunteered at the YWCA. I joined a committee to raise awareness of sexual violence. I was named Citizen of the Year by the Missoula Family Violence Council for my efforts. Many more things have happened since. In the midst of it, I was criticized by advocates for taking part in the eGriz "culture". I was criticized by eGrizzers for the feminist causes. It seemed to be a conflict to be anti-rape and pro-Griz. I stepped away for a while but I just started following posts on here again very recently. I hesitated to read the commentary on the article about MaroonBlood featuring Alpha. Wow. I am SO f***[*] pleased to see that the true nature and decency of Griz fans and Hauck supporters came through. I'm pleased to see that the eGrizzers have divorced themselves from the toxic rhetoric of Alpha and the like, for the most part. I adore the game of football. I love discussing it. I can deliver and take crude remarks and disagreements and thrive on the banter like many of you. Thank you all for restoring my faith in us. Welcome back, Bobby. Go Griz!
