So is Tenn bowl eligible this year

I read about the UT self imposed probation and was wondering if they were bowl eligible or if was just a recruiting penalty?

i would assume that since it was self imposed they are eligible. i couldnt see a team willingly forfeiting post season opportunities, when they could get away with giving up some of there scholarships. just my thoughts, but idk for sure.

I'm not sure, but in order for it to be an issue they will have to win 6 games and given the schedule and the situation, that might in and of itself be difficult, particularly if they do lose to the Griz.

Yes, most of the NCAA stuff was related to the basketball team anyways. Football stuff was pretty much a dozen or so phone calls made during a dead period.
