Pretty incredible honor. Congrats to Dalton!

“The CFPA FCS National Performer of the Year watch list includes 32 players from around FCS football and just five players from the Big Sky”

He only sucked in some of the games. He's back on track & needs to maintain his composure on Saturday. We will win big if he does.

Choate said on the Bobcat Sports Report tonight that he doesn't know of any QB in the BSC that's played any better than Sneed the past couple games.

Tucker Yates, DL, said - "Playing sound defense, we just gotta do our jobs and not get out of our gaps. You know they are going to make plays. They got good players, they got good skill. Sneed is a real special player. I mean he can make plays with his legs, he slings the ball, he's like a gunslinger out there. So containing him is, like I said, the main thing we got to do."

He had a few not-great games, but he didn't suck in any games. Just for the record.

Sneed is terrific. He has been all season. And, I'm sorry, but those of you who couldn't see that all along, are .... There are other good players on the offense, but the guy who has been consistently good and carrying the O, is Sneed.

Love his competitiveness. Love his toughness. Love his skill. Apparently a leader. That kid is going to go far in life.

Sneed is #2 in the Big Sky for total yards per game (over 300), and #8 nationally.

This just doesn’t make any sense. Again half of the fans have been ripping on him since last spring. He can’t be possibly be this good right? you anti Snead pricks

Terrific for Dalton and the GRIZ. I am happy for him. For those who are calling out posters for saying he sucked, those were the minority of GRIZ fans. At Dalton's worse, this season, the worse criticisms were some of the following:

(1) He took off running too soon- That was true the 1st few games, when the OL was really struggling. That has minimized now that the OL is better.

(2) He didn't get through more than 1 read. That also WAS true. Also that was due to him not having the time to get through read progressions. An inexperienced OL was the main reason for that too. He is doing much better at reads the last few games. That will continue.

(3) He struggled with the long ball. Yes, some did go to far with this one. It wasn't that he couldn't throw a long ball. It was more of getting in sync with WR's, and not throwing a variety of passes with touch. He often would bullet his passes. Again, the last month, he has improved to the point of actually being damn good with the long ball. The development of Akem and the trust in Akem is also a huge factor in this. He has shown and proven, he can throw with touch, as well as bullet passes.

(4) He didn't keep his eyes downfield when he scrambled or ran. That too was accurate the 1st half of the season. The last month, he has definitely been keeping his eyes down field, looking for passing options. That has been huge for the offense. He has hit Akem, Sulser, JLM, Curran, and TE's, resulting in big plays, and a much more consistent offense.

In my opinion, he is a much better quarterback now, than he was the 1st half of the season. His improvements are very noticeable, as are the results. His efforts and willingness to coaching have resulted in a very good to great offense. That is amazing, despite inconsistent OL play that still occurs. His improvements, toughness, and willingness is a huge sign of true leadership. He is proving that he can handle adversity, which will be huge in his remaining time as a GRIZ. Him being part of this distinguished is well deserved. It is also a huge sign as to how bright the GRIZ future is. The way Dalton is playing of late, is the difference of a .500 GRIZ team, and a true playoff caliber team. The Dalton Sneed of the last few games, the GRIZ would likely be 9-2, instead of a 7-4 or 6-5 team. I thoroughly believe, Dalton will be the biggest reason why the GRIZ will defeat the Cats this season, and will put the GRIZ in contention for the playoffs. IF, they do make the playoffs, this GRIZ team can maybe even pull off a win, maybe 2, depending on the playoff bracket.

I am glad that Dalton Sneed is a GRIZ and our leading QB. His future and the team's future is bright because of his leadership and improvements as a QB. Thank you Dalton Sneed. Let's keep this train on the tracks and go as far this train will take us.

oh I think the PSU was on the boarder of suck. 2 fumbles, 1 TD, 35% completion for 122 yards. granted we had a whole host of problems that day.

Had a bad first half. Was about 1-10 or 11 in first half. At least one fumble wasn't his fault. UM lost 4 fumbles. He was under pressure and was sacked 3 times.

Sneed was the reason UM was in the game at the end. Lead team to 20 points in second half, and the lead, and team had about 240 yards of TO in second half.

Sneed is terrific qb and has had, overall, a very nice season. That's why he was put on this list. His mobility and running is outstanding. He is a leader.

I really don't understand fans who can't admit how good Sneed is and the type of season he's had. Ask the coaches.

As for your point no. 1, I asked that question of Hauck after the first game, and he said, no, Sneed did not flush too soon. He was under pressure.

Don't really agree with you on your point 2, except for the comment on the o-line. The goal earlier in the season was to get the ball out fast, or scramble. But yes, he has improved.

Don't agree with your point 3. Didn't throw many long balls earlier in season. Didn't have time. Yes, missed some that he threw, as do all qb's.

Agree with most of no. 4.
