Smartest athletic dept in the state

I gotta say, this is the first time I've ever seen a fan base pound their chests over a typo in a student newspaper.

The source for the 3.26 is the MSU SID. I really do not think the SID reports NCAA violations.

To be fair to the student reporter, he was just quoting the “no NCAA violations” thing that came from MSU. Not his oversight, just going with what the school falsely said.

Haven't seen one for football only, but it generally hovers around 3.0-3.2. It was certainly helpful having a finalist for the academic heisman last year.

It's the only reliable data point. That has to be among the very worst GPA production in all of sports...just awful. Why do they have to embarrass the Last Best Place in nearly every conceivable way?
