Careful I hear Mr. T coming to lock and lecture or degrade.

You sound like the voice of experience, wolfman.

Well you can't tell me he doesn't have his favorites and non-favorites? Or can you little trickster weeney dog? He lets some rip undisciplined and others he drops the hammer on for hardly anything near the same rip.

really doesn't matter what anyone thinks, he's got a three year contract.

Anyone know what the buyout in his contract is. Bet it's no more than a year's salary. Love what he tried with buying tickets and giving to Students, and I really think he's trying to do what good coaches do. He works the sidelines, etc, but just does not draw up the X's and O's like a good coach. He would be a great AC, he can recruit well enough, but we need a game day guy here.

So, I was at the game today, seated in a spot that afforded a great view of Tankle during the course of the contest. This was an absolute beatdown that was far less severe than it should have been thanks to the kind gesture of Romar putting in the entire supporting cast with a very good amount of time still left.

After UW made the first big run I observed two things up close that were very apparent:

a) The Montana players clearly had quit, were going through the motions, and knew they had no chance. They were getting outmuscled and outhustled at every turn. Brockman only put in 25 on an ankle that still is not full up, and it was clear that these were Tankle's players trying to man up - in short, no heart and no drive.

b) Tankle moped on the sideline with his arms crossed and head down like the assistant he should be, not the leader of a team of any kind. People next to me were outright mocking him and in complete disbelief that he was the person in charge of the comedy we were watching.

I heard that the fools gave him a 3-year extension. For what? His sub-.500 record is laughable and exactly what I predicted would come about. I'll be checking back after the tourney with my dead on prog. from the day of his hiring. Trust me - you'll love it.

Only bright note - it was good to see Opie back in town, but he really should be playing D-1 QB rather than wasting 4 years toiling with a putrid coach.

Hey Cornhole steveaustin! Are you back yet? The tourney is over for you now.

How do you feel about your Huskies now? They couldn't even honor the seed they were given in the tourney. Romar showed he doesn't have the goods. But that is alright, because he didn't have the goods at Pepperdine or St Louis either.

The only thing he has done is to finally land some of the vast basketball talent the Seattle area possesses. With high schools like Franklin, ODea, Seattle Prep and Garfield turning out eventual pro caliber players I could take that team as far as he did.

Maybe you should just stick to the Husky board where you can make all the excuses you want.

I see you are still crying over the UW loss cornhole, so I might as well post what others have said on your beloved Husky board:

Husky Basketball the last 6 years:

2008-09...Pac-10 regular season champion can't win more than one game in the NCAA Tournament.

If you win the Pac-10, you really should be able to at least be more than a one-and-done team in the NCAA tournament. From Pac-10 CHAMPS to losing in the second round. That puts a completely different spin on the year you had. Ouch.

2007-08...Finish with a losing record (16-17) Get bounced in the first round of the CBI.

2006-07...After being ranked No. 16 to start the season, sink like a stone as soon as Pac-10 play starts. After rising to as high as No. 8 in the polls, can't even make the NCAA Tournament, or any tournament for that matter. That's wild, you were ranked No. 8 in the nation at one point and you don't even make the tournament. Wow.

2005-06...Actually this was a solid team and a solid year. But you still can't get past the Sweet Sixteen.

2004-05...No. 1 NCAA seed: You still can't get past the Sweet Sixteen.

If you're the NUMBER 1 SEED, you should be able to at least get past the Sweet Sixteen, not get slapped around by a so-so Louisville team.

2003-04...Didn't even bother with the Sweet 16 choke, instead got bounced in the first round of the tournament by mighty UAB.

Awww. boohoo. Where's your big mouth now?

Maybe you should make sure your house is in order before you troll The Griz board.
