Greetings Griz fans,
At Skyline Sports, we have added a few men to help us with coverage of the Griz football season this fall so I wanted to start a thread to share links. We have similar threads on the other message boards throughout the Big Sky Conference but most of our stories/podcasts/videos pertaining to the Griz seem to find their way here without me posting. We just wanted to make sure their work doesn't go unnoticed.
Jason Bacaj, the former business editor at the Bozeman Chronicle and a sports writer during his time at the Anniston (Alabama) Star is now living in Missoula and pursuing his master's degree in creative non-fiction writing. Jason will be attending each Monday press conference and providing the audio for stories throughout each week. We will also post a podcast featuring that press conference audio along with Bob Stitt's comments from the weekly Big Sky coaches' call and the audio from the coach from Montana's opponent each week. We will have a print story each week leading up each Griz game. Jason will be in attendance to shoot photos and report quotes each Griz home game. Myself and my brother, Brooks, will be in attendance at next weekend's Southern Utah game, of course the rivalry game against Montana State and perhaps one or two other games as well this season.
We have also added Fritz Neighbor as a contributing writer for Skyline Sports. He will be providing features throughout the season, beginning with his feature today on Montana's linebacker legacy.
Here's some links from early on in the season pertaining to the Griz and the Big Sky Conference. I will post podcasts, weekly stories and features here throughout the rest of the 2016 season as well. Cheers!
