Skydiver Announcement Before Game

Anybody hear the annoucement before the game that the skydivers could not jump because of wind conditions???? Maybe we will see them a couple of times if conditions are right. We can hope.

I don't see why they can't enter over the north endzone. There's way more room there than there ever was in the SE corner.

I meant in general. There was talk that they would never be able to again with the new lights, but there's not any lights above the NEZ crowd.

The wind direction chooses which direction the skydivers approach from. They cannot enter from the north all the time.

Last I had read, the U was in discussion with their insurance provider on whether or not a liability policy could be written to allow the skydivers to continue jumping with the added obstacles.

Well at least we have a chance of seeing them jump again. Like it was noted above the talk earlier this summer was that between the crash last year and the new lights that the Silvertips were history.
