Silvertip Skydivers?

With all the changes we have heard about to the pregame, anyone heard whether they are going to allow the skydivers back this year?

No. Never again shall they dive into that stadium. They wrote that out with the lights. That is the primary for the new pre game they had to ditch half of the stuff.

That's odd. One of the skydivers told me they could still dive in.
Honestly they do have a way to do it. But I doubt the university does it. I havent talked to anyone about pregame since spring. Maybe they changed their mind. But last I heard was a solid no. :/

I know a few smoke jumpers. For some of them, they honestly think they could jump into the center of the cannon if given the chance. They are a different breed. Assume the Silvertips are the same. Thankful for them though.

I saw what appeared to be skydivers going in for a landing near the stadium this afternoon. Maybe practice for Saturday night?

I expect us to be to hammered to see much of anything, Hammer. :beer2:

God I hope not. Basterds always cost me at least a beer when the wife wants to head in early so we don't miss them

There will be skydivers on Saturday. They are supporting the wounded warriors project. Check out thebofund.org.

Got some info leaked to me today that indeed, a former seal unit which does jumps now at air shows and such is planned for Saturday night and that the plan initially called for one of them to tandem Monte into the stadium. But was told today it's not working out as the size of the costume head restricts the view of the jumper to the point it isn't safe.
