Last years Silver-Maroon Scrimmage, Jack McGillis scored 26 points playing for both colors. He basically lead the Silver to a big first half lead (or maybe he started out maroon in first half). Second half, he switched to the other team (maroon or silver depending on what color he played for in first half). His second half team scored big and overall, silver and maroon tied sending it to overtime.
Jack would have made a huge difference last year, but wasn't eligible. This year he will be eligible and I predict will be a huge contributor to the Griz success story this year(Sure hope it turns out a success).
But, I know what Jack can do. I am now more interested in what some of the new guys can do. Will there be the guy other than Jack to jump start this team to heights never achieved by a Griz team in history (like sweet 16)(okay lets sugar coat it a little).
I sure will be looking for that guy. Will it be Anthony Johnson? Or Banny? Michael Taylor? Of course, can't forget some of the players that actually played on the team last year like Hasquet, Staudacher, Elgin-Taylor, Qvale.
For Lady Griz:
I know what to expect from most of the team (great depth), but will definitely be interested in some of the newcomers such as Shaunte Nance-Johnson, Alexandra Hurly, and Tianna Ware.
