Signing day

The fall signing period starts tomorrow, and the Griz men should sign 2 players (Hutchison and Woods). I have heard they are looking to sign a guard also but I have no fir info on any commits.

The Lady Griz I am told still have one scholarship to give, as they are holding one open, in case lets say a really good Montana girl should decide to become a Lady Griz. They should sign 3-4 players in the next couple days.

BTW: Just so everyone remembers that D-1 college basketball is a cut throat business. You may (or may not) remember a prospect out of Washington named Sterling Carter who committed to Pacific. I had heard that he was very high on the Griz's board this fall. After visits to Pacific and Montana he committed to Pacific. Last month he blew out his ACL and MCL in a pick up game. Pacific has with drawn their offer. He will not be signing with anyone this fall. He will not be playing any basketball for a good 7-9 months. It appears that even if he recovers 100% he will most likely have to go the JC route to prove he can still play.

Sac State picks up 6'9 280 lb big man with 12% body fat... Seems like a good way to start off the Katz era!
