Personally, I'd still like to see a good drop down qb that could come in and start right away. But that's just me. As our qb play goes, so goes our year and I just don't have a ton of confidence in our current group.

Personally, I'd still like to see a good drop down qb that could come in and start right away. But that's just me. As our qb play goes, so goes our year and I just don't have a ton of confidence in our current group.

That would be great but an effective defense last year and we win three or four games that we lost last year even with our uneven qb play.

I really like the class. Not trying to be a downer but the only thing I wish we would've seen more of is LB and interior D-line. We have 3 seniors starting at LB and little to no experience behind them. Holt is gone now as well, so LB is good for 2013 but THIN for 2014. Schey from Malta I think has the frame and what appears to be smarts to play, but not for a few years. I know they said Strahm might go to OLB so that could factor in as well.

im my opinion this is what ndsu does so very well, get their players to buy into what ever position is in need, in order to get their best athletes on the field at the same time...m.d. seems to have that knack as well...
