Signing day #2

Overall the information provided was good I though. The coaches actions with the press are an embarrassment to the university. The press are trying to their job just like the coaches.
 
I wasn’t really fan when the press asked questions on certain recruits that the answer was “just watch the tape.” I think a brief breakdown of the player would have been a nicer way to go.

Yes - 18 min mark the reporter made a pretty bad assertion (wrong) - Bobby's reaction to it is why he has this narrative follow him. It was not necessary. Sometimes he just handles simple thing very poorly.
 
The fact is Bobby just not give a crap about his actions or how he handles the press. It was not just Bobby you could see it in Justin's attitude as well. Sure the coaches are way smarter than the press as far as football goes. They act like that also with their attitude .As a coach, it's part of your job-contract to meet with the press. This is Montana and most of the press are young guys who do not know that much about sports. I mean if they knew as much as the coaches they would be one.

You talk like the press is just a big monolith. The press is individual reporters. Bobby reacts to and treats different reporters in different ways. If you were a reporter, Bobby would treat you poorly, judging by your posts.

They're just fulfilling their press obligations. Can't expect anything beyond that
 
Where the hell do 'the Press' come from, some grade school Special Ed class? Professional is not a word associated with 'the Press.' Incompetent, and ill prepared are more accurately descriptive. And the coaches are supposed to put up with it? If I was Bobby, I'd school these idiots very publicly, pointing out their stupidity for all to see. Hmm, that's probably why I'm not a coach. OK, ONE of the reasons I'm not a coach.
