Signees vs 2016 Graduating Seniors

So, this incoming class has:

3 QB's
1 RB
7 WR
5 OL
3 DL (4 if Sibiea comes through)
5 DE
2 LB
2 S
1 CB
1 K
1 LS

And after the 2016 season we lose:

2 QB
2 RB
1 WR (Lane Hovey, who is in the number above)
5 OL
2 DL (3 if Sibiea is here)
1 DE
1 S
2 CB
1 K
1 LS

So, virtually ALL of the extra recruiting dollars/space went to WR and D-line (DE & DT). Would still love to see another CB and another RB in this class....

Another note of interest: Not a SINGLE drop-down O-lineman....either Stitt REALLY likes last year's crop and expects them to compete for starting positions this year, or he REALLY believes Germer is going to be able to coach up all the seniors we'll have this fall.

The O-line will be very young but talented. Many of the to be Senior (and red shirt Junior)back ups have left the team. Coach Germer is an great coach and has a group that he believes in.

Add to this that bringing in more competition as transfers could have decreased the odds of landing the incoming FR OL we landed. In my opinion, this is a great sign for our OL as a whole.

Stitt will look again after spring ball to fill any positions in need....

When he said he'd be looking to bring in a couple other transfers after Spring ball I was hoping this is what he was referring to...
