Wow! It seems this post got a little sidetracked. Just for anyone's basic background, local GSA chapters don't get to invite "certain" people - the administration brings whoever it pleases and we are very happy to host whoever is coming. We would love to meet and greet our new athletic director but for whatever reason Jean Gee is not making the trip. I would guess she is quite busy in her new position. We are excited to meet Mick Delaney, the new head football coach, as well as Coach Beers, and to once again visit with Sundberg and Halsam. And yes, eastern Montana is home turf for Lady Griz Coach Robin Selvig and we are very excited he is coming. Sidney is also home to Lady Griz baller Jordan Sullivan, niece of coach Selvig. How this got warped into a man versus woman thing is beyond me. Our event will be attended by many men and women who enjoy golfing, a fine meal, and conversing with fellow Griz fans. The point of this post was two-fold - one, to proclaim eastern Montana's unwavering support for the GSA and GrizNation - and two, to inform anybody within driving range of our schedule of events and to invite all Griz fans to our function. Sidney supports the Griz! Please join us.
 
Blame for the derailment of this thread lies squarely on grizoola's slender shoulders.

Wish I could make it to Sidney but that is a serious haul from the NW portion of the state. Sounds like a great time.

Thanks for that explanation, and that's all I asked originally until LakGriz came in with his "joke." Blame the derailment on him, not me. Go Grizzz!!

who was it who got his knickers in a knot with the wild assertion that Gee had been dumped in favor of Selvig and who was claiming that the golf outing was a "guy" thing?

take a look in the mirror and you've got the answer.

And no, it wasn't my fault that O'D and Flu were fired, if you were wondering.
