SI likes griz

I just got my issue today and in the NCAA preview section they rank their top 60 teams and Montana was 53rd. Sports Illustrated is known for some wild-ass guesses and ranking teams past 20 is sort of futile, but I'm wondering what made them recognize a team that finished 11-16 and lost a couple starters from a disapointing lineup. My only guess would be that beleive in Krystkowiak. I'm with them if that's the case. I like what I've read about him digging the team out of a rut. I think the griz will surprise people this season, except maybe the SI editors....

Bad timing though. I try not to buy into the SI jinx, but to have this come out on Griz-Cat weekend makes me nervous.

Larry K will make progress-this yrs team has potential. The guards are a
little small by quick. Seyfert must get it going-most of the time he just takes up space on the floor. Some of the younger players show potential.
