SHSU at Eastern Washington: Guess the Score

Good game. Sammy should win. EWU had the easiest bracket of anyone left. I am indifferent to this one, but wouldn't mind seeing a rematch between Sammy and NDSU, so SHSU 37, EWU 34
SHSU has a better defense than people think, but not as good as NDSU's. But if SHSU's offense is clicking, they will be damn tough to beat.

SHSU runs a defense that Eastern will light up and don't underestimate Baldwin's preparation for games like this. SHSU runs a defense which almost begs you to throw it and that plays right into Eastern's strength (something Poly and MSU didn't do well). Eastern will have a defense prepared for SHSU's offense, and will blow up SHSU's press coverage on D when they bring the pressure. Eastern may have had the easiest path to the semi's, but will be a damn tough out, especially at home...

As I have no clue on this game, I just have to go with my thoughts.
I think EWU's passing game will be too much for SHSU. Not saying they are going to steamroll, but enough.
Also, SHSU has not had any turnovers yet. Something tells me they are due for a couple of drops tonight.

EWU won't quit when behind, but teams have had good sucess running on them. Should be a good game. I would like to be able to root for EWU but the douche fan base makes it impossible. Kats party in Cheney :shock:
I root for EWU because they'd be a BSC team vying for the NC. Yet, EWU almost lost to the Griz, a 5-6 team. SHS has very good players, are consistent, don't make many mistakes. Don't think EWU will pull this off.

Don't see why ESPN2 showing a DII NC game out west, here, instead. It could easily have scheduled the EWU-SHS game for the West.

The "root for the BSC" idiots blow me away. Why?
No reason to root for the enemy it does us no good.....but hey you guys just keep trying to tell yourselves the BSC is a good conference.......maybe some year you will be right.

Can't think of a conference with more NC or more teams than than the bsc. We've won a couple as well as ISU, EWU, BSU, and MSU as well as tons of appearances by Montana and Nevada. I think they stack up to any conference very well. I will be rooting for EWU all the way.ALPHAGRIZ1 said:
