Show some Class !

I grew up in the Root. I worked for 25 years in the Midwest. I was lucky enough to bring my family back to Montana. Beautiful country no doubt. One thing I've noticed, the people are not the same. After many years of watching excellent football from Fargo to Frisco, I was excited to embrace and support the Griz program, but the attitude by many on this board is absurd. Most of it has nothing to do with football. I've had the opportunity to take my family all over the country to support the Bison, we have enjoyed and loved every minute of it. We have met many great opposing fans, we made many friends. Now, to be honest, I'm a little apprehensive to take my young sons to this Aug 29th game. Ill be looking for some intelligent life there, as will the nation."Don't make an ass out of yourselves". The Griz have a good tradition and are at a pivotal point, please show some class. Good luck to the Griz, the Bison are not unbeatable.

What's so humorous about your holier-than-thou proclamation about how classy the Bison fans are, are the comments from an EWU fan I met in the lobby of The Davenport Hotel in Spokane this summer. As we chatted about football, and the rivalry between EWU, Montana, and MSU, he said that the EWU fan base really liked and respected the Griz and Bobcat fan bases, and were treated very well when they attended games in Missoula and Bozeman. But he also said that the NDSU fans were biggest A-holes he has ever seen, and wished us good luck in beating their butts this week.

We have had our seats for twenty years. I have taken my kids to all the games of those years. The little children have all become respectful Griz fans. What this guy is posting is some scary stuff that does not exist. Apparently, he has never gone to one of our games. Maybe, he lives in constant fear. He needs to grow up. Everybody around us is civilized. If he is afraid for his kids, maybe they should ride the carousel. The guy seems to think that violent sports can't hurt people. GO GRIZ!

Was that the trip that kept you from meeting PR at the Mo Club...

Reading comprehension failure. The guy is wondering if somehow eGriz in anyway represents the general Griz fan base and if it does then he is concerned about bringing his kids to a game in WA Griz. I can say without reservations that if eGriz resembles fan behavior at a Griz football game then I would be afraid too; I'd be VERY afraid. However, like nearly all of the interwebs, this is an artificial construct that resembles nothing real. Bring your sons and you will all have a good time (provided you don't happen to end up sitting next to an almost certainly mythical "real Griz fan").

I assure you that Griz Nation can in no way be judged by the posters who dominate this board. Most avid Griz fans don't even visit this site, and most know the game of football, and could not stomach the terminal sugar-coating and lack of objectivity of these posters. I try to provide some counter points of view in a futile attempt to bring some reality to this site. But it really is an impossible task.

So do us all a favor and quit posting... just a thought.

If Griz games were like Egriz, many on here would have their own row of empty seats beside them, with how many different alter egos they have. Talk on Egriz is nothing like a game, to even think that makes me laugh.

You might want to look up the definitions of 'objectivity' and 'reality'. Because YOUR version of them includes massive doses of nothing but pure negativity and vitriol, either against specific players, coaches, units of players or other egriz posters. You continually long for the "good old days" and can't seem to find a single thing about this team (or recent teams) that you're happy with. You are the proverbial turd in the punchbowl if there ever was one.

Relax... take your kids and enjoy one of the best staduims in all of college football. I dare you to walk through the tailgates in NDS gear. The only problem you will have is getting into the stadium on time from all the fans handing you beer and food.

It appears you have the wrong Montana team in mind. If you want your car keyed, spit at you, cussed at or your wife groped, head over to State. They have zero class and treat opposing fans like crap.
Who had their car keyed or is this a lie?
Alpha showed a picture of his car keyed, but it came from Alpha, so it could have been a lie.
If it really happened he deserved it but you are right he is a liar so who knows.

"Just so we can end the debate of which place is louder......"

I LOLed. Yes I'm sure this weekend will put it to rest for both fan bases.
