Heck, you want a colored field? The Griz could have a different colored field each week for a lot less than buying permanently ugly red colored artificial grass. Just hand out free eyeglasses with different colored lenses. They could start with the maroon ones that I hear about here so often.

I can see were changing the turf color would cause an uproar because I'm still myself not sure I would like it but black end zones really would give the stadium a tougher feel. There is enough moroon in the stadium already.

I meant his coaching philosophy against glamor boy, showboat football. He had a career that spanned a lietime and it is a shame that it ended the way it did, but that doesn't invalidate EVERYTHING he stood for.
